New Leader Onboarding Outline

LifeBridge Health leaders play a critical role in our success. With that in mind, the goal of New Leader Onboarding (NLO) is to help newly hired leaders ramp to their intended roles in an efficient and effective manner, and to provide resources for their hiring managers to support the same—all with a view toward retention and the leaders’ overall success.

Newly Hired Leaders Provide training and resources so newly hired leaders may effectively acclimate to their new roles and the LifeBridge culture overall Blended learning solution:
   
  1. Leader Resources Portal provides self-paced and just-in-time resources and leadership support for ongoing reference—checklists, job aids, and critical links—facilitating self-sufficiency and overall development. Advocated and by HRBPs, OBS, and Hiring Managers. Managed by The Leadership Institute (TLI). See outline under NOTES 
  2. New Leader Essentials - classroom session provides training on management mechanics for essential processes and procedures as a leader at LifeBridge Health. Facilitated by HRBPs 
  3. Quarterly Leader Breakfast provides executive presence and introductions with a focus on inspiration, motivation, and engagement at LifeBridge. Focused on newly hired leaders. Coordinated by TLI

  1. Pre-First-Day Checklist – preparation guidance to welcome the new leader 
  2. Welcome Note Template – LBH pre-printed cards and notes for reach-out

  4. First-Day Checklist – potential activities for the new leader’s first day 
  5. First Week Check-in – meaningful discussion tips (end of week 1)
